Frequent Questions

Q:

When will the next Dream Guardians® book be released?

A:

At this time, I don’t know.
HarperCollins contracted the first two books in the series. When they offered to contract two more, we were unable to agree on the terms. Therefore, I declined to continue the series with HarperCollins.

I know many of you will be disappointed in the lengthy delay. I’m very sorry. I know you’ll understand that as a career author I have to weigh business concerns as well as creative ones.

I will finish the Dream Guardians® series. The characters are near and dear to my heart. But when and where, I can’t say at this time. I’m presently working on both my MARKED urban fantasy series (w/a S.J. Day) and my SAPPHIRE fantasy romance series (w/a Livia Dare). I’m also continuing to write my historical romances. Once I’ve cleared my schedule a bit, I can focus on finishing the DG series.

Please sign up for my newsletter and/or site updates (forms are located on the front page of this site) and I promise to let you know more as soon as I do! Thank you for your support and patience. I’m grateful for every single one of the hundreds of letters I’ve received asking for Book #3.

Please tell me that the fatal lunge from Sheron to Wager did not happen. Tell me Phillip escaped by jumping into someone’s slipstream and joining Aidan and Connor.

Philip is the hero of Book #3. ;)

How many novels do you have planned in the series?

At first, I thought it would be three books in the series, but now I’m not sure… I’m often surprised by the turns my stories take as I’m writing them.

I just finished Pleasure for the Game (loved it) and I love Simon. Will he have a book soon?

I think you’re talking about PASSION FOR THE GAME (historical), is that right? If so, Simon Quinn’s story is DON’T TEMPT ME and it’s available now. You can find more information about Simon’s story here: www.sylviaday.com/books/tempt-me/. I hope you enjoy it!
